Why under-sink cabinet bottoms fail
A slow drain leak. A supply connection that weeps once a month for a year. A garbage disposal that drips when it runs. By the time most homeowners notice, the particleboard floor of the cabinet has already swelled, delaminated, and started to flake. The good news: the cabinet itself almost never needs replacement. The bottom panel does.

Two Upgrades Worth Considering
Once the cabinet is open, two upgrades make sense to fold into the scope:
Waterproof tile or sealed vinyl lining. A tiled or sealed-vinyl base contains the next leak (and there will be a next leak) on the surface instead of letting it soak into the panel. It also wipes clean in seconds.
Pull-out organizer racks. The space under the sink is where cleaning supplies go to be forgotten. A pull-out tier or two converts it from a cluttered cave into the most-used storage in the kitchen.
Either upgrade can be added to the project scope when quoted.
How Pricing Works
Cabinet bottom replacement is quoted as a flat-rate project. Send photos of the damage, including the underside of the cabinet floor if you can get the angle, and a quote will follow. Onsite inspection sometimes reveals damage extending into the side panels or back panel. If that happens, the work is paused and the scope is re-quoted before continuing.
